Ongarbayeva M. B. was born in 1968 in Aksu-Ayuly village, Shet district, Karaganda region.
In 1991, she graduated from Abai Kazakh State Pedagogical University with a degree in Mathematics and informatics, and started her career as a mathematics teacher at Panfilov secondary school in Shu district, Zhambyl region.
In 1998-2002, she worked as a teacher, Senior Lecturer of the department "life safety" at the Taraz State University named after M. Dulati.
In 2002, she defended his PhD thesis at Abay Almaty State University in the specialty 13.00.02 – theory and methodology of teaching and upbringing (mathematics).
In 2003-2010, she worked as an associate professor, head of the Department of "Mathematics and informatics" at the Taraz Institute of the International Kazakh-Turkish university named after A. Yassawi.
In 2010-2015, she worked as the head of the Department of "Mathematics and Computer Engineering" at the Taraz innovation and humanitarian University.
In 2015-2017, she worked as an acting associate professor of the Department of" Mathematics and computer engineering", since September 2017-head of the Department of" Information and communication technologies".
M. B. ongarbayeva is the author of more than 40 scientific and methodological Articles, 3 educational and methodological manuals on the problems of informatization of education, methods of teaching mathematics and computer science, pedagogy of higher schools. The results of research work are published in foreign publications.
M. B. Ongarbayeva was awarded the certificate of honor of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the certificate of honor of the party "Auyl" for her work in the education system.
