• Born on 03.01.1953 in Dihan village, Baizak district, Zhambyl region in a large family.
• In 1975, he entered the Abai Kazakh Pedagogical Institute, and in 1979, he graduated with honors from the Institute with a degree in history.
• He started his career at the Zhambyl Pedagogical Institute, where in 1979-1983 he worked as a teacher at the Department of "history and political science".
• From 1983 to 1988, he continued his studies at The Graduate School of the Abai Kazakh Pedagogical Institute, and in 1988 he received the degree of candidate of historical sciences.
• In 1992, he received the academic title of associate professor.
• In 1989-1996, he worked at the Zhambyl Pedagogical Institute as the head of the department, dean of the faculty, vice-rector for scientific work.
