Business Incubator Activities

In 2023, the Entrepreneurship Center of the International Taraz Innovative Institute named after Sh. Murtaza received a grant to support business incubators from the National Agency for Innovation Development "QazInnovations" JSC. This allowed the institute to conduct two free business incubation programs. The work of the business incubator was revitalized on July 24, 2023.

The main goal of the business incubator

The main goal of the business incubator is to create and support technological and innovative businesses/startups by commercializing knowledge and technologies, while offering entrepreneurs access to institutional infrastructure and favorable development conditions at the initial stage.

Services offered by the business incubator:

1. A three-week business incubation program;

2. Mentorship and tracking;

3. Assistance in securing funding and finding investors;

4. Consulting and organizing meetings with industry experts;

5. PR for residents on social media platforms;

6. Informing about startup competitions, grant programs, and investment During the incubation, workshops, trainings, as well as individual and group consultations were conducted. Participants, including students and entrepreneurs, learned the basics of business planning, received mentorship, tracking, acquired new skills, consulted with experts, and networked with new professionals. As a result of the incubation, two DEMO DAY events were organized where participants presented their projects. In total, 39 projects were presented under two incubation programs in 2023, and 46 participants received certificates. The projects covered areas such as the production of new products, website development, and the use of solar panels. It is noteworthy that residents who complete the business incubator program, defend their project, and receive a certificate are eligible to apply for grant funding of up to 20 million KZT from "QazInnovations" JSC.
