The V International Competition for Young Scientists in the Field of Intellectual Property "Intellect"

This competition is held annually among students, master's students, doctoral students, and research staff of higher education institutions and research organizations under the age of 35.
The organizers of the competition are the Federal Service for Intellectual Property (Rospatent), the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education "Russian State Academy of Intellectual Property" (RGAIS), and the Eurasian Patent Office.
The goals of the competition are:
- to develop and integrate educational and scientific activities in the field of intellectual property;
- to support the professional growth of young people in the field of intellectual property.
In 2024, the International Competition for Young Scientists in the Field of Intellectual Property "Intellect" will take place in four stages:
1st stage – registration and submission of applications (from 01.02.2024 to 31.10.2024);
2nd stage – remote evaluation of scientific projects (from 01.11.2024 to 30.11.2024);
3rd stage – publication on the RGAIS website of information about candidates selected for the final stage, the final stage – defense of scientific papers in the form of a presentation (until 15.12.2024);
4th stage – awarding the winners at the Rospatent Board (February-March 2025).
The winners of the competition are considered to be participants who take 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places. The prize-winners of the competition are participants who take 4th, 5th, and 6th places.
The winners of the competition will be awarded cash prizes ranging from 80,000 to 150,000 rubles. Winners and prize-winners will receive a certificate for educational programs implemented by RGAIS (50% discount on tuition).
