Conference

On March 3, 2023, the representative office of the US Embassy in Kazakhstan held an online meeting on grants of the university partnership program. The conference was attended by representatives of the following universities: Kazakh National Agrarian University (Almaty), Zhetisu University (Taldykorgan), International Taraz Innovation Institute named after Sh.Murtaza (Taraz) and the M.H.Dulati Taraz Regional University (Taraz), Zhubanov University (Aktobe), Auezov University (Shymkent). During the videoconference, the representative of the American Council for International Education Maksat Koshkarbayev explained what goals and expected results this program gives to the holders of grants of the partner program. The participants of the videoconference discussed further actions, and also asked questions to the representative of the US Embassy in Kazakhstan about the grant program. In her speech, the Cultural officer of the US Embassy in Astana, Amber Aura, noted that the grant program is important for the exchange of knowledge between universities and wished all participants of this program good luck in further joint activities.
